As part of its ongoing commitment to drive industry excellence, Antalis UK has launched a brand new division designed to provide customers with one single point of access to its world-class print and publishing solutions – Antalis Paper Managed Solutions (APMS).
In a progressive move forward, the new APMS division follows the merger of its Paper Management Services and Customer Solutions businesses in April 2018 and brings together over 40 years of experience to create what is now the largest provider of its kind in the UK’s Print and Publishing sector.
Key customer benefits include an unprecedented scale of choice and innovation, with APMS selling a wide range of printing substrates and packaging products, machinery and solutions, as well as providing global reach through the Antalis group network – with the business serving clients across the UK, Europe and Asia.
A major focus of the new division will be to drive cost optimisation for customers through the provision of a free, comprehensive audit supported with delivery of recommended solutions designed to ensure significant cost reductions and improved efficiencies.
APMS will operate on one bespoke IT platform offering expert paper management across the world, ensuring accurate and leading personalised management information, including assured supply, provided as a single, simple, hassle-free service.
Following the success of the launch, Bruce Munro, National Sales Director, Antalis UK, said: “Times are changing fast in our industry, which is why it’s so important to remain progressive and innovative, and continue to evolve in line with changing customer needs and demands.
“Our new APMS division enables us to better serve customers demanding a full range of services and products, by providing one common platform for our full offering in order to drive economies of scale, improve efficiencies and ultimately elevate the customer experience.”
The new division, which operates out of Antalis’ existing Tring and Dartford offices, is headed up by Jonathan Hunt, Sector Director, Operations, and Paul Tasker, Sector Director, Commercial, focussing on business operations and sales respectively. Supporting them is a highly experienced team of over 30 sector specialists, many having worked in the industry for over 20 years.
With a £100m turnover, the new business unit forms part of Antalis UK, and comes with strong financial backing, supported through the company’s extensive logistics infrastructure. Last year, the Antalis UK business launched a suite of new, more technologically-advanced vehicles as part of its £5m commercial fleet partnership and invested £7m in improving its logistics operation at its Coalville central distribution centre with over 200 new state-of-the-art forklift trucks.
Bruce adds: “As a business which prides itself on its commitment to customer excellence, we are incredibly passionate about supporting customers with the range, resources and skills needed to grow their business during these challenging times.
“It’s an exciting time for Antalis as we continue with our ambitious plans for growth and APMS will play a major role in this.”
